Delete local ride data
In the app, open Settings → Privacy, legal & account and choose Delete local ride data. This removes ride history, watchlists, favorites, and interrupted-ride recovery from that device. You can also remove the app to delete its remaining local app data, subject to your device's backup settings.
Delete your account
In the app, open Settings → Privacy, legal & account, choose Delete Ride the Tape account, confirm the warning, and complete the requested Apple or Google identity check. This deletes the Firebase authentication account, synced ride history and detailed telemetry, and the local ride library. It also disconnects the app's stored Strava connection.
If you cannot use the app
Send an email from the address connected to your account to privacy@ridethetape.com with the subject “Ride the Tape account deletion.” We may ask you to verify control of the account before deletion.
After verification, we will delete the Firebase authentication account and Ride the Tape cloud data linked to it within 30 days, except information we must retain for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Detailed rides stored only on your devices must be removed on each device or by removing the app.
Connected services
Disconnect Strava in Ride the Tape Settings to revoke the app's stored Strava connection. Deleting Ride the Tape data does not automatically delete activities already uploaded to Strava or workouts saved to Apple Health; manage those records in the applicable service.
